photo-floor

Man-made flooring that simulates natural substances. Tile that appears to be stone, laminate that appears to be wood. Both of these are produced by photographing examples of natural substances, then reproducing that image on man-made sustrates. The level of realism is dependent on the quality of the process.

The idea behind the term was provided by my son who was quick to point out the visible pixilation in my new (budget) tile.

I just installed a new photo-floor....and yes, it's pretty as a picture!!!

That one guy who lost his permadeath hardcore world on Minecraft, which he had kept a perfect run going for 5 years. He calls the world's ending a "blessing" because of how it brought many players back into Minecraft, allowed him to stream Minecraft full-time (his dream), and showed people just how far you can get playing a game for 5 years. His run is now referenced on the Minecraft title screen, which says "Ph1LzA had a good run!"

Despite the overwhelming fame, Phil (his name) won't release the save file of his 5 year world, saying that it would ruin the image of the progress made in the world. And because all those clickbaiting Minecraft channels will make hella profit out of his lost progress, which is a dick move, but Phil is too much of a puss puss to actually say that <3.

Ph1LzA currently streams on Twitch, usually playing on a new hardcore map (but he might be playing Rocket League in the future). You can check out his Twitch channel at twitch.tv/philza and his Youtube channel at youtube.com/user/ph1lza, where he posts daily highlights of his streams. If you check out his youtube channel, each season indicates a new hardcore world.
