SatAM

A reference to the early Saturday morning TV show that aired between 1993 and 1995 starring a team of Freedom Fighters attempting to liberate their war torn planet from the clutches of the dicator, Warlord Ivo Robotnik and his angsty nephew, Snively.

This show is considered to top all subsequent Sonic the Hedgehog TV shows due to its excellent plot line and extremely credited voice cast. Many Wapanese followers of the Sonic fandom reject it due to its non-Japanese origin and serious storyline, not to mention the orignality prevalent in the animation style, a detail absent in most contemporary cartoons. Sadly, the show was canceled due to a change in leadership at ABC and being stacked up against the lackluster Power Rangers in the same time block.

Normal Person: Hey, did you hear they released one DVD of Sonic Satam out for sale?
Wapanese Kid: Zomg!! Satam is teh suk! Sonic X roxxorz!!!
Normal Person: What makes Sonic X so much better than Satam?

A misunderstood term. There are many different faiths under satanism the most common is LeVayan Satanism, founded by Anton LeVay. It is attached to the Church of Satan and the Satanic bible. It is a more atheist (as they prefer to call themselves) point of view. Practicing rituals and spell writing and incantation relates it to Wicca or Pagan groups. Though the group practices magic, majic, magick, majik, or how ever you would like to spell it they do not believe in a celestial being or "God" except for themselves creating the philosophy "You are your own God" a point of view meaning you choose your own destiny not a false being claimed to have created all the existence from nothingness. Another View of satanism believes Satan was the true creator and during an inquisition the catholic church stole satanism and turned it into the opposing religion. These satanists usually practice the Ars Goetia, or the art of summoning of the 72 demons. They practice summonings, rituals, and spells found in LeVayan Satanism. Another for of satanism believes the bible and everything it says but choose to fallow Satan and his army of hell. These satanists are/where common on the black metal scene especially in the 90's. Satanism can be related to Christianity and Judaism because of its extensive branches each believing very many differences.

Satanism is by far the most misunderstood religions.

Satanist

An adherent of any form of Satanism, a broad category of religions and worldviews all involving a favorable interpretation of "Satan." The most public form of Satanism is LaVeyan Satanism, which does not believe in or worship Satan as an actual entity, but instead sees Satan as a symbol of independence, individuality, etc. Since the late 1990's, thanks to the Internet, Satanism had diversified quite a bit. There are now more and more theistic Satanists, who do revere Satan as a deity - in most cases also associating Satan with independence, individuality, etc. Most do not see Satan as "evil" except in an ironic sense.

Many Christians have wrongly assumed that Pagans and even atheists are Satanists, who in turn are wrongly assumed to be violent criminals.
