Tesla was an ethnic Serbian born in the Austro-Hungarian empire in 1856, and moved to the US in the late 1800s. He was also extremely asocial and reclusive, and is believed to have died a virgin.
Nikola Tesla may have been the smartest person to ever live, and certainly one of the most impactful on society.
