Meeting with three parties of differing opinions, Hopefully pleasant and not contentious,

I have an onsite "menage a meeting" with the SC-Public Utility and the City of Lethargy and I hope everyone decides to play nice.

Stand up meeting

A meeting where the people are forced to stand, with an idea of keeping the meeting short.

Ironic, since its the manager that makes it a stand up AND controls how long the meeting is.
Mostly used to exert physical control over employees.

"Christ on a stick! He spent 30 minutes explaining his two paragraph email."
"Yeah, and he had the balls to make it a stand up meeting."

When your boss whats to hear himself talk so he calls you into his office and tells you to close the door.

Travis wasn't producing, so Mr. Big called him into a CDM: Closed Door Meeting and told him stories of how good he used to be.

a group of friends or coworkers consuming alcohol together, usually during a happy hour. significant others, bosses and mooching not invited. may or may not be at a pre-determined time and/or place.

Accounting has a board meeting the second thursday every month at the Grind.

breakfast meeting

When you meet a girl out at night and you have to have breakfast with her in hopes of learning her name.

I was so gone I had to have a breakfast meeting just to remember her name.
