A tommy is short hand for "a tom hank", in other words, a wank. So someone having a tommy is having a wank.

I went upstairs and caught him having a tommy, it was disgusting.

I opened the bedroom door and what did I see? None other than my best friend having a tom hank, I'll never look at him the same again.

To "pull" a tommy is to spend and waste time from a forced unpleasant or unenjoyable activity by leaving it, and instead of being there, using the excuse of wanting to go to the bathroom, and then spending a long time there.

Possible uses: tommying, pull a tommy, pulled a tommy, pulling a tommy. Works in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd person, and can be used on males and females.

"Hey, where were you at most of second period?"
"Oh, It got really boring so I pulled a tommy."

"Where were you at the assembly?"
"I was pulling a tommy. I got really bored from that."

"tommy" or pulling a "tommy" not having a job Someone who speaks of having a job and you have no idea what type of job they have or if they even have one. It's to be assumed that they do not have any type of employment but want to come off as if they do.For example, the popular 90's sitcom "Martin" based on the comedy of Martin Lawrence. His best buddy Thomas "tommy" Strong was always told :"what job, now you know you ain't got no job man!"
