I'm not racist, but...

A phrase used to proceed a bigoted tirade. Similar to Dennis Miller's stock comedic phrase "Now, I don't want to get off on a rant here..." which he invariably follows by a ranting monologue.

The problem is, when Dennis Miller does it, he understands that he is prone to ranting and appreciates the irony, which is why it's funny. Your average racist is never quite honest enough with himself to figure this out.

The literal translation from racist is, "I am, in fact, likely to be the most bigoted person you've met in years... the following observations will definitely prove this."

I'm not racist, but... you do know the Jews use the blood of Christian babies to make Matzoh.

Why must we all be such racist whores. At each others necks with knives waiting for someone to do something racist. Hey assholes, count how many fingers you have, then have another ethnic person count how many fingers they have. OH MY GOD WE ALL HAVE 5 FINGERS!!!! How strange! I think we are all equally racist. Whites, blacks, jews, indians, asians, arabians, christians, retards, gays, and genders, we like to up our standards by putting down someone else's. I look back on Dr. Kings speech, and really, looking today, the only thing that has changed was law.
