a style that is a mix of emo and preppy. typical scene girl hair:short, choppy layers with wisps of hair being the long length. long bangs in face flipped to the side. layers teased up. wears mainly dark clothes, but throws in a splash of bright color, such a purple or pink. wears dark makeup and almost never has their natural color hair. a lot of scene people smoke weed or do some other drugs, but are never drug addicts. scene people tend to be laid back and calm, but drama queens at times. rare scene people can be talkative and happy a lot, but definetly have their emo moments

Cut the crap. You can be "OMG IM EFFING SCENE!!" or just happen to dress emo-ishly and be classified "Scene".
Scene is a style, NOT a personality. So technically, yes it is related to emo, but scene kids are often not suicidal, and can be spazes. I repeat scene is a style, which means it is the way you dress, not your personality. So please, don't hate.

'scene' A word typically used to signify a spectacle or something to behold.
According to guru Manal however, it is the place holder word for 'yea that's right'. Typically used in situations of less formalities like a ball gala. It is considered the most driest and rudest way to respond to a text.
