Combination of "trendy" and "indie": Used to describe formerly indie bands that have grown in popularity, usually (but not always) due to attention from British music mag NME. Examples include, but are not limited to, Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand, The Killers, The Kaiser Chiefs, and The Arcade Fire.

Indie Snob: Man, I used to love Bloc Party, but they're so trindie now. Goddamn NME...

Trinda

A crazed girl whom loves the attention and always seems to put a smile on your face. She has many different interests, and can sometimes be a lot to deal with but in the end your always glad to have spent the day with such an interesting fun, beautiful person.

A sexual partner meet by swiping right on the Tinder app. Similar to a "Fuck Buddy" this relationship is primarily physical with limited emotional attachment.

Person 1: "Turn Down for What?!? After bar at my house, you coming?"
Person 2: "Nah brah, I just hit up my Tinder Buddy. Off to go get some"

tinderbox

the literal meaning of the word is a "box for holding tinder", tinder being something combustible you use to start a fire. A tinderbox can also be a potentially dangerous situation or location.

The proper usage of the term is as an insult that sarcastically implies that somebody is 'fake tough'.

"Dang B! The Angeles National Forest is a tinderbox during the hot, arid summer."

"Hey tinderbox, wanna do something about it?"
