A person who is addicted to social media and ignores or disregards time tested good old traditions.
Like using a map and compass, reading the newspaper, or doing anything related to the trades.
Like using a map and compass, reading the newspaper, or doing anything related to the trades.
Example:
A. I hate those social media maggots. They use their phone for everything and almost never think for themselves.
B. Okay grandpa / grandma. Have fun with that newspaper. I have followers that want to know what next video I am going to make.
A. Why do you do something that does not make any REAL money or is useful in any way. Stop being a social media maggot already!
B. I am paid in Bitcoin and through Paypal. I help people feel slightly less miserable about themselves when they watch my videos.
A. This new generation does not listen to its elders. They are all socially addicted to their apps and facebooks.
B. Ok boomer. Are you done complaining yet? I have a new online class to take thanks to skillshare.

An extremely weak and insecure individual that blocks someone they have an issue with on social media and then proceeds to use that same social media platform to post negative status updates or emotional rants directed at the person(s) they blocked. The social media coward engages in these acts on the assumption that the person(s) they are referencing and taking "shots" at likely will not see posts nor be able to respond.

Jack was dumped by Jill at Starbucks this morning. Afterwards, Jack went home, cried, and posted several status updates on Facebook directed at Jill explaining why he had to break up with her. Being the social media coward that he is, Jack blocked Jill on Facebook so she could not respond and tell the truth, thus Jack was able to successfully play the victim.

Those people who no longer are allowed on major Social Media platforms, despite never breaking the Community Standards. Attempting to create their own platforms results in the shadowy players getting ISP'S and Server Hosts to deny them service, thus leaving them essentially voiceless in today's society. The act of signing one's self up on social media sites under the opposite gender f-sag or to gain access to certain gender restricted groups.
If I'm a guy and want talk to lesbians without being labeled misogynistic I might commit social media gender impersonation on something like KIK.
