Get the Kawaiimug. Kawaii, also written as “かわいい”(meaning “cute”, pronounced kawaī) a common term used by middle school girls who have no idea what the hell it even means and if they do, they are most likely a weaboo. There’s a small chance that they may actually be studying Japanese, but in this day and age, kids have an attention span of 2 seconds, so this is uncommon.
かわいい first came up as a statement against traditional Japanese culture in the 1970’s, and though the adorable genre still massively popular, the word itself has been associated with 12-14 year old white girls who’s only interaction with Japanese culture is through anime, an artist on Pixiv who doesn’t even understand them, or hentai. This word will always be written out in it’s English form(Kawaii) and never in the actual language, though nobody expects them to look it up and at least try to write it.
This word will be plastered all over a drawing, usually of an anime girl with pink hair, pale, pale skin, and big round shiny eyes accompanied with a sharp chin holding a kitten or puppy. The colors will be blinding and is either on Tumblr,DeviantArt, or both.
