FIFA syndrome

Referring to the FIFA series of videogames. A mental state in which one desires to own or play a new entry in a game series, despite uneasy feelings regarding whether or not the sequel's new content and/or gameplay changes is enough to warrant its existence.

"I should be hesitant to buy the new Splatoon game, but my FIFA syndrome is making me otherwise."

Fifa Nap

Used to describe a time when potential gamers are tired, and are prepared to play on the football game Fifa, but with the agreement that intermittent naps may be taken.

This can be applied to any game or activity. EG: Film Nap, food nap, read nap, talk nap and so on.

"Fifa Nap?"

"I'll play, but I might need a nap at some point, Fifa nap?"
