unjust law

The only type of law that's made to be broken.
* example of unjust law in the 1950's*
"do-gooder": What are you doing? You know your not allowed to bring black people into your house. That's illegal.
Actual good person: Dude, people were throwing rocks at him, I had to get him inside.
"do-gooder": YOU REBEL!!! CRIMINAL SCUM LIKE YOURSELF NEED TO BE LOCKED AWAY IN PRISON!!!
Actual good person: Says the person who stones black people for fun.

King's Law

When a man is discussing anything with a female feminist, as the conversation continues, the probability of the feminist accusing the man of "mansplaining" approaches 1. This is especially true online.
A: "How'd the conversation about your research go with Carole?"
B: "She said "Jesus, thanks professor," and then invoked King's Law."
A: "As expected."

Magee's Law

When achieving a "Killing Spree" or a higher award (such as "Running Riot") on Halo 3, then immediatly afterwards you are killed without killing anyone else after the award.
Getting a "Killing Spree" celebrating, and then being sniped seconds afterwards, then requiring you to except you've been done by Magee's Law

Harpers Law

Similar in practice to Godwins Law. Relating to the Liberal sponsorship scandal of the Chretien Government in Canada (referred to in the mainstream media as "Adscam"), Harpers Law is used compulsively by supporters of the current Conservative government to deflect from any debate regarding corruption, lack of ethics, incompetence, and transparency. Once used however, like Godwins Law, it shows the complete lack of any factual argument by the user.
-Did you hear about how Stephen Harper likes to eat a puppy with his orange juice for Breakfast?
-So what, at least he isn't responsible for Adscam!
-Did you just use Harpers Law?

-Did you hear that Harper is dynamiting Parliament, and moving the government from Ottawa to Calgary?
-Calgary sucks, but at least its not Adscam!
-Dude, I know you love Ambrose's hair, but enough with Harpers Law already!

-Have you heard that Del Mastro just robbed a Pizza Hut? The moneys still there, but he got all the pepporoni.
-Adscam!!!!!
-Why do you keep using Harpers Law? Harpers Law is not going to reimburse Pizza Hut or bring that pepporoni back, is it?

-I read that everyone who isn't a Conservative is to be rounded up, given a flannel shirt and John Deere cap, and is being shipped to Ft. McMurray as part of "Canada's Action Plan." Is this true?
-Adscam! Adscam! Adscam!!!!!
-Harpers Law is not going to save you from being tossed on a Greyhound with some Newfie going to some camp off Highway 63! This is serious! Stop resorting to Harpers Law!!!

Sumner's Law

Harley Davidson riders don't wave because they think they are too bad. BMW riders don't wave because they think they are too good.
Sumner's Law is true. When I ride my Honda Gold Wing, I always wave at fellow riders, but Harley Davidson and BMW riders never wave back.
