A sentence or phrase used by someone (mainly woman) who become utterly annoyed hearing the same thing over and over again and being told what to do (usually from a man).

Man: Girl, you need to get your work done and you need to get it done now.
Girl: I know, I know. Give me a break I'm doing what I can.
Man: I can't tell. Do it now

Individuals who know more are able to make better decisions and live better.

"Know more know better" is a great idiom. I tell it to my students to encourage them to study. "Know more to live better" is a counterpart.

A preparatory statement used in a sentence to avoid giving offense. It assures the listener that he or she already knows the fact about to be mentioned and that the speaker is mentioning it merely to acknowledge its truth or to help make a point.
