Calligraffiti

A term used to describe the essential beauty of contemporary wall art (graffiti) through the oxymoronic relationship between calligraphy (meaning decorative hand writing) and graffiti (meaning writing scribbled or scratched on something); fundamentally, graffiti is calligraphy.

Early graffiti artists such as Dondi were influential in turning calligraffiti into a well respected art form.
The calligraffiti on 5th Avenue extremely beautiful.
There is a debate on whether or not to teach calligraffiti as part of the art curriculum in schools.

Calliope

1. The eldest and wisest of the Nine Muses of Greek mythology. She is the muse of epic poetry, commonly known as Homer's muse, being the inspiration for Homer's Iliad and Odyssey.

2. A type of musical instrument which produces sound by sending a gas (either steam or, more recently, compressed air) through large whistles.

3. Title of a story in Neil Gaiman's Sandman graphic novels, in which the Greek muse Calliope is featured - although here she is misidentified as the youngest muse.

Daughter of Zeus and Mnemosyne and mother of Orpheus, Calliope is the eldest and wisest of the muses.

Cali Tree

Exceptional marijuana grown from the medicinal weed state of California. Cali tree in comparison to any other states tree (with the exception of Maui Wowie) will romp any other TCH heavy weed. In theory this is due to the legalization of medical marijuana in the state and the many of the Cannabis colleges located within the state.

Calling Blades

The act of choosing weapons when challenged in a street fight; challenger decides which weapon will be used and if challangee does not have said weapon, challangee is SOL.

Blades can be substituted with the following: belts, bottles, rings, purses, shoes, brass knuckles, paper, chairs, boxes, knives, etc.

C-Dub: I saw that ho Stephanie the other day and I thought about calling blades on her ass, so I did!

C: Was she packing?

C-Dub: Hell no! You know I cut that bitch! And what?
