a phrase (used in The United States foreign policy since the end of The Spanish-American War/Roosevelt Corollary) meaning :

as long as I (or my country) have a common enemy with a given person (or other country) I will take the risk that this friend (or allied country) of mine might later betray me.
Jason: James my man, I am doing a poli sci paper for school and am not sure what would be an appropriate epitome of the phrase my enemy's enemy is my friend.

James: The perfect epitome of this phrase would be IMHO, ask Henry Kissinger, one of the best experts of US Foreign Policy.

A type of person who spoils what happens next in the current episode of a mainstream series to someone who hasn't watched the current episode.
Frank loves to watch Game of Thrones but likes to spread the word and share what happened in social media, since then, he was an enemy of mankind.

Enemy Brain

The part of your brain which produces negative thoughts, almost like the devil in the devil vs angel trope. Often associated with poor mental health the enemy brain makes you see yourself in the worst light it can.

Theme of Fox Stevenson song "Enemy Brain"
I wish my enemy brain would stop making me hate myself.

Enemy

An ally of an enemy is your enemy (not a frienemy or any other coined word from a coined language). Its simple, you know not to trust anyone who's an ally of an enemy.
He/she isn't your friend when he/she is with you. He/she is pretending to be your friend when he/she is with you. An enemy that doesn't want you to know they're your enemy is still an enemy.
