Relatable

God that was waaaay too relatable. You see the parallels there right?
Hym “Jesus Christ was that wiki relatable. God... I mean, you look miserable. Watching that made me miserable. I mean, more and more the videos end up looking like a diatribe on why the thing you are actively and consciously doing to me is wrong. Yet here we remain. Why? Why subject the both of us to this? I could leave you alone but this thing you’re doing would remain. And then what? Hmm? No, seriously. What happens then? I go about my life, 3 months later the new people I work with find out who I am, do the thing you’re doing. Nothing changes. I’m still in the situation I’m in. What good what that do? Now, you may be thinking ‘Well, that’s not my problem.’ I don’t care. I don’t care that it’s not your problem. You don’t even like how I chose to outline the problem I’m having here. Do you really think you’re going to like any solution that I can come up with that isn’t ‘Shut up and go die quietly somewhere?’ I just don’t get it. What do you really think is going to happen here?”

#Relatable

Used to refer to someone or something, particularly on social media, that is supposed to be relatable to as big of an audience as possible, usually at the cost of quality.

Also used ironically and in combination with tags such as #deep and #quirky
Person 1: Why does Lele Pons make so many videos about being in school?? she's like 30...
Person 2: You just don't get it, she's so #relatable

"This is my 5th coffee today oh my god I'm such a crackhead #quirky #relatable #hashbrowns"

Ohio Center for Law Related Education

Commonly shortened to the OCLRE. Used to pop off with the best mock trial competitions in Ohio, but now takes 3 weeks to return scores and another 2 to award best witnesses and attorneys. Hasn't been the same since they went virtual, and they just might be using COVID as an excuse to slack off.
Man, I sure hope the Ohio Center for Law Related Education gives us our scores this weekend.

First time?

Race relations

Race relations seemed better and less divided a few years ago, back when the Confederate statues were still around. At least back then, even if they argued at times, they were still talking points. Now that the statues aren't there people are expected to forget history, change, and compromise. That won't make anything better. Before the statues were removed people said they were divisive, but race relations seemed to do well. Now that they've been removed, people really are more divided.
Race relations don't improve if people don't get to discuss history from all angles, even the unpopular (unprofitable) ones. As long as one group wants another group to change, forget, or compromise, things aren't going to get better, they're going to keep getting worse.

Sometimes (actually many times throughout history) things were already as good as they were going to get, then people were people, and they still wanted change, and they thought they could do better, and they all fucked it all up. They were all part of the problem.
