LOTA

Lover of Temp Agencies. This term refers to industry leaders who are resistive of embracing flexible work options and the gig economy. They would rather continue with the status quo and operate like it's 1985 then facilitate workforce innovation. Even when their labor strategy involving temp agencies fails, they still remain loyal to the old way of doing things.

Man that General Manager is such a LOTA....he'll be doing things the same way for the next 20 years...no one wants to work at that place under those conditions.

I'd like to work at the local factory but the only the way to get in the door is through the local temp agency....the HR team are basically a bunch of LOTAs.
