Trickology

1. The study of the tricking phenomena with reference of origin, growth, reproduction, structure, and behavior of those imposing a trick and those on the receiving end of a trick.

2. The study of tricks used in a specific region.

3. trickological phenomena of an organism or a group of organisms performing tricks.

I earned a degree in Clowning; trickology was the single hardest class to pass to earn that degree! I couldn't figure out what the regions were of the different knock knock jokes that have been introduced over the past seventy-five years. Be prepared for some heavy duty studying in that class bozo.

trichotillomania

A disorder simular to obsessive compulsive order and helf harm, which consists of a person pulling out their own hair. For a very common disorder, it is relitivley unknown and little talked about.

It is not certain what causes it, but it is thought that it is caused by mental trauma, there is no known cure.

Trich is also thought to be related to other things such as obsessive compulsive disorder, depression and obsessive skin-picking.

Most trich sufferers feel ashamed and suffer from low self-esteme, finding it hard to let people in and talk to others, but if you think you suffer from trich, consult your doctor and take a look on google, there are thousands other out there! :)

I think my trich was caused by my mum dying when i was a kid. I have been pulling for 9 years and i also suffer from depression and obsessive skin-picking.

trichophiliac

A person who is attracted to hair, most common attraction to hair on the head. Arousal may occur from seeing or touching hair, whether head hair, pubic hair, axillary hair, chest hair or fur. Head-hair arousal may come from seeing or touching very long or short hair, wet hair, certain colors of hair or a particular hairstyle. Pubic hair fetishism is a particular form of hair fetishism.

An awsome theatre company based in albuquerque, new mexico, usa. the company has toured all around the world and gained critical aclaim from prestegious newspapers. they are based heavily in ensamble work, acrobatics and other physical work.

I went and saw billy the kid the other day by tricklock. it was really awsome, violent and absolutely hilarious

trichotillomania

An anxiety disorder which causes a person to pull out their hair strand by strand, often causing noticeable hair loss as a result. People suffering from trichotillomania may refer to the disorder as 'trich' and may call themselves 'trichsters'.

There are two types of trichotillomania. Type A is most common which involves pulling from the scalp. Type B involves the pulling of eyelashes and eyebrows.

You pull out your hair/eyebrows/eyelashes to the point of baldness? It sounds like trichotillomania to me.

trichotillomaniac

A person who compulsively captures people, often tying them up and then pulling their hair out strand by strand, until they are entirely bald.

When I was a kid my whole family was unfortunately captured and made temporarily bald by a trichotillomaniac.
