Freedom of the Press

(1.) (Gym etiquette):
Showing consideration to other gym members by not hogging machines or bench presses, others may want to use.

(2.) The freedom felt after physically venting one's daily frustrations, by lifting weights.

Better to abide by "freedom of the press" and be conscientious of other gym members, than hog a machine you are not using. Or are taking lengthy rest periods on, during the busiest time of day.

Putting on the press

When you are at the bar trying to pick up.

Based on the (FCP) Full Court Press in basketball.

If they go to the dance floor... you go to the dance floor. If they go to the bar... you go to the bar. If they go to the washroom...you wait outside the washroom. In theory, if you're the only person they've seen all night, you are their only option at the end of the night.

I'm putting on the press tonight.

Last night she was putting on the press.

To walk around a room or other location and shake hands with people. Usually done by politicians in an attempt to make friends and garner votes.

The Mylapra Press

The Mylapra Press originated from a small town from the state of Kerala, India. This position begins in doggie-style (preferably with a female partner) and prior to climax, gets grip of her hair with one hand, and with the other punches her in the love handle repeatedly while the male progresses to thrust harder and harder, simulataneosly! This position is commonly transitioned into the Donkey Punch. This is a common act in the town of Mylapra for keeping the women humble!
