Rather Having

The act of taking one option over the other without real regard for what the mainstream would consider sound logic, making this act bold and brave. Rather Having is not to be confused with preferring something, which any loser can do.

Circa 2009 one would prefer Dwight Howard to Ronny Turiaf, but a brave soul would be rather having Ronny.

Stephen Hawking Swirl

An uncommon, yet unfortunate result of a throw during beer pong where the ball will spin around the rim of the cup, then be ejected out of said cup. The physics of this action are puzzling, some thinking that the ball enters a black hole and then reappears, falling out of the cup. Who knows how it works, apart from Stephen? But it sucks majorly when you lose because each shot results in the swirl.

Craig: Yo, now watch this shot

*Throws ball*
*balls spins around inside of cup*
*Ball levitates and is ejected from of cup*

Chris: Oh damnn, you just got owned by the Stephen Hawking Swirl!

p-hacking

Exploiting –perhaps unconsciously - researcher degrees of freedom until p<.05.

That finding seems to have been obtained through p-hacking, the authors dropped one of the conditions so that the overall p-value would be less than .05.

She is a p-hacker, she always monitors data while it is being collected.
