What da "elephants in politics" have for their arrogant "big biz" party in Congress.

With da economy and government in da deplorable state dat it is, I cannot see how anyone could honestly have much GOPtimism nowadays.

gophmunk

A theoretical cross-breed between a gopher and chipmunk discussed in philosophy of science courses in the U.S. state of Minnesota. See Meehl, 1992, pg. 121 for an explanation.

There are chipmunks, there are gophers, but there are no gophmunks. Hence, biological taxa exist to some extent, and we might use quantitative variables to identify a particular taxon.

Feeling confident dat da Republicans will prevail in a vote, win da election, etc.

If you're overly GOPtimistic, it likely means dat either you don't see da "elephant in da room", or you've ignored a "white elephant" dat is gonna inconveniently/embarrassingly "rear its trunk" sometime in da not-too-distant future.
