Gangster Disciples or also Growth and Development, a Chicago based organization that came out of the Black Devil Disciples and the Supreme Gangsters, at that time it was known as BGD but then later on they dropped the B and were just GD.

One who shows his loyalty;

"GD has become a catchphrase to some people and they seem to have lost what the authentic meaning of gangs(.) are.

Abbr. for Growth and Development. A politcal action committee and community service provider for the inner-city of many U.S. cities. Originating in Chicago this organization was a result of the reformed leadership of the Gangster Disciples. Larry Hoover was the founder.

The Growth and Development Nation sponsored a soup kitchen project on Chicago's soutside.
