Doublay

A doublay is when a person vomits and shits his/her pants simultaneously. It can also be called a blay, if you just shit yourself, with no puking action.

I first heard of this term from a zine made by a member of a punk band called Marilyn's Vitamins...they heard it from a band called Choke.

Aww man...I was so wasted last night...I did a doublay right outside the bar.

When you can think of only one brilliantly witty, unique and (of course) effortless line to post on a social networking site eg. on Twitter, as your status on Myspace or Facebook, you just 'double up' and use it for more than one of the sites. Therefore you will seem brilliant, as long as none of your friends are on both/all the sites you use the line on.

Girl 1: I saw your brilliant 'nail polish dries slow on nails, but quick on carpet' line on Twitter.
Girl 2: Oh, thanks.
Girl 1: Yeah. Then I saw it on Facebook.
Girl 1: Oh, shit.

space-doubling mirror

A mirror placed in the corner of a room to create the illusion that there are other rooms on the other side of the mirror.

It occurred to me that placing a vertical mirror in the corner of my living room I could create the illusion of more space and enjoy that illusion, so two-weeks ago I dared to try that and it worked. A week ago I placed another what I'll call "space-doubling mirror" on the opposite corner. Looking at the first mirror reflected on the first, or in the second at the first, more than doubles the illusion of more space. Each mirror is 1 by 5 feet.
