Get the Patty's Day mug.The drinking holiday in State College, PA that takes place once every year, usually in February. State Patty's day was created in 2007 when Saint Patrick's Day fell on spring break. Students still wanted to celebrate the drinking holiday with their friends at school, so they created this faux-holiday. The holiday has been growing in popularity year after year but is very controversial because of the large number of people arrested and sent to the hospital for alcohol poisoning.
