Originally coined by the torrent site meganova.org as a response to a legalese letter asking the takedown of links to leaked email archive of anti-p2p company MediaDefender.

I'm guessing that an "asstunnel" is what you get when a European whose first language isn't English tries to say "asshole." It seemed awkward when I first read the response, but the expression has since grown on me. (Ryan Paul, Ars Technica)

They are the expendable adherents of the MPAA and the RIAA always ready to do their master's bidding by poisoning p2p networks with junk data, bad files, as well as committing other illegal activities against file sharers. They are also known to have an interest in beastiality. Due too their massive stupidity of forwarding all their company emails to a gmail account using the secure password blahbob nine months of their internal emails have been leaked to the internet. More information such as internal phone conversations and program source codes have now also been leaked to the net.
