When your resume of gross/abusive behavior is seen by other rich, mostly white menfolk as being a valuable transferable skill or in some way qualifying you for a position.

Particularly above more qualified people or against common sense

Oh, you heard about all the charges against (insert famous person)? Yeah repulsive I know, but at least now they've got the allegifications to run for office now
