Phrasal verb used to denote various stages in the preparation, mastication, and digestion of food, along with the process of eliminating the waste products thereof.

1. Is dinner ready, or are you still working on it?
2. Can I take your plate, or are you still working on it?
3. Man, I'm still working on that tortilla three hours after I ate it.
4. Man, there was so much cheese in that quesadilla that I'm still working on crapping it all out.

The hood it not working

What Thai restaurants post on their door to signify a temporary closure of the restaurant. If the manager is out, hood translates to 'head' thus giving more definition to the concept itself. Additionally, the 'it' is a philosophical reference to the state the 'hood' is in. To fully comprehend such sign, read it as "The HEAD IS not working"

Manager/owner is out of town on business for a few days and there is nobody to take over the job. Restaurant will post sign reading: The hood it not working"

Getting me to take a hint is not this working. Stop trying to use this to control me. You are doing it only because you want to make a point about rape and in doing so you aren't doing anything other than revealing your own pathology about it. It's pathetic that THE RAPE-PORN GUY has a healthier relationship with rape than you do.
