if someone is too gay to lift, it means they are too gay to be able to lift anything.

Too Gay

The point when a person or group become so overwhelmingly homosexual that it turns off a large number of straight allies, and becomes detrimental to the LGBTQ cause.

"Have you noticed something odd these days? I can't quite put my finger on it."
"What? That the country has been too gay for a couple of decades too long now? No one wants to piss off the illuminati and get canceled, or end up with a burned face like Jay Leno, so no one says anything. But yeah, I have."
