In politics: when a candidate for an political office with moderate views is challenged by a third-party candidate whose views are more ideologically "pure" to the extent that the moderate candidate withdraws from the race.

In Australian usage, a rich bogan. (Bogan being Australian for chav (UK) or white trash (US).) Scozzers have usually become rich after achieving success in sports (particularly cricket and footy) or entertainment (particularly manufactered pop stars or Big Brother contestants).

I heard Shane Warne got sprung nailing a 16-year-old at his Surfers Paradise mansion. What a stupid scozzer he is.
