Scott Cawthon Effect

An effect in which the fandom of an awesome indie game becomes cancerous and starts ruining the game.

The name itself is named after Scott Cawthon, the creator of Five Nights at Freddy's. The game itself has been ruined by its Fandom.
This entry was created in 2017, the same year Bendy and the Ink Machine, a horror puzzle indie game, was released and its community has the Scott Cawthon effect. Do you know how quick that was?
