myopian

An extreme homer that simply fails to see any faults. Usually used in sports but also useful in other situations. The myopians are forever optimistic, failing to see any faults regardless of what scandal may be taking place or how doomed a particular sitation my clearly be.

Fan 1: Barry Bonds is the bomb, he's the greatest there ever was in baseball..

Fan 2: Are you a myopian? He's a cheater

a form of blindness resulting from having travelled to a remote part of the planet, under very difficult conditions, only to realise that there's a tour group there. Expatriate myopia causes you to not see the tour bus, the group or any individual that may remotely come from where you're from. It's often accompanied by deafness.
