A female character from the popular anime and manga Hunter x Hunter (or HunterxHunter) by Yoshihiro Togashi. A Nen user who is a Transformation type, Machi is 24 yrs old, blood type A, 159 cm tall and 48 kg.
She is also a member of the Genei Ryodan or Phantom Troupe. She has purple hair and golden eyes. Machi is from the City of Falling Stars.
Machi seems to be one of the coldest members of the Genei Ryodan. The only person she has shown some real emotions to was Kuroro Lucifer, the leader of Genei Ryodan.
Hisoka seems to have an occasional interest with her, always hitting on her, although really hard to tell whether it's genuine or not, because of Hisoka's unpredictability. It is unknown whether or not she likes Hisoka.
Machi's Nen can transform into long, thin threads in which she uses in a diversity of ways, including seaming together old wounds to heal them, repairing back dislodged limbs (like what she did for Hisoka), and forming a noose that can strangle enemies with a tug.
Her thread's strength is proportional to the length. The longer the thread she makes, the easier it is to break.

Machi; A Machi is an amazing person that you will never regret letting come into your life, is an extremely energetic person that will always brighten your mood no matter how bad it is, and will care for you in its own way. Machi is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, it can be a little over the top sometimes but that adds to its charm! Machi makes you laugh like no other person and will definitely make fun of you for shits n' giggles! Sometimes Machi gets ahead of itself sometimes but will always make sure to make an effort to apologize even if it can't put it into words very well. No matter what, having a Machi in your life is the best thing that can ever happen to someone so make sure to cherish it and show that you care for it, it deserves the world

machi is a character from the anime/manga hunter x hunter. she is a member of the phantom troupe, a group of nen users that massacred the kurta clan, among many other crimes. she is spider number three of the phantom troupe, and her nen type is transmutation. for her nen, she creates threads out of her life aura to manipulate others, fight, and heal. machi has long pink hair that she typically wears in a ponytail and blue eyes (2011). she is intelligent, cold, calculating, and caring about her close friends.
