Internetacana refers to artifacts, or a collection of artifacts, related to the history, geography, folklore and cultural heritage of the internet. Many kinds of material fall within the definition of Internetacana: artwork, memes and videos; websites and social media channels, digital content creators, computers and mobile devices; digital content creators, and so on. Surrealism, hyperbole and the zeitgeist of the times of the contents creation play defining roles in the subject. The things involved need not be old, but need to have the appropriate associations. The term may be used to describe the theme of a website, video, meme or collection, or of goods for sale.
