A person of otaku nature who spends large amounts of time reading manga in the graphic novel section of stores like Borders or Barnes & Noble. They rarely buy anything and are usually sitting in front of sections that people who intend to buy things need to reach.

a girl typically between the ages of 14 and 20 who dresses like a ho with her friends (i.e. fake tan, long hair, glops of eye makeup), to the point where you can hardly tell one girl from the next. hobots thrive off of facebook pictures of themselves in mirrors before going out or fake-kissing each other-- presumably for male attention; however, competitive hobots also strive to impress each other, thus continuing the hobot cycle.

"did you see megan's new facebook album?"
"yeah, they're all of her and her friends in the mirror, but they all look the same...she's such a hobot."
