Ouran High School Host Club

An anime/manga - by Bisco Hatori - about a girl named Fujioka Haruhi, who attends Ouran Academy on a scholarship. She is middle-class, and considered a "commoner" by her peers, although she is the top student in the school. She is taken in by the Ouran High School Host Club (the Host Club is made up of "wealthy boys with time who entertain wealthy girls with time... It is an elegant game unique to this school") after breaking a vase valued at eight million yen ($80,000 U.S.). The manga/anime details daily adventures of the club, including dances, festivals, rivalries, character histories, etc. It is a shojo that is more comic than romantic, and can make fun of itself and its genre.

Tamaki Suou: The prince type (President of the club)
Kyouya Ootori: The cool type
Hikaru Hitachiin: The little devil type
Kaoru Hitachiin: The little devil type (Hikaru's twin brother)
Mitsukuni "Honey" Haninozuka: The loli-shota type
Takashi "Mori" Morinozuka: The wild type (Takes care of Honey)

Their types are their different appeals in the Host Club.

Ouran High School Host Club

Ouran High School Host club is a manga series written by Bisco Hatori, and was later adapted into an anime in 2006. It Follows Haruhi Fujioka, the only "commoner" in Ouran Academy, a prestigious school for rich kids. After being mistaken for a guy, she must work at the academy's host club to pay off the dept of an expensive vase that she had knocked over. The other host club members, (Tamaki Suoh, Kyoya Ootori, Hikaru Hitachiin, Kaoru Hitachiin, Takashi Morinozuka, and Mitsukuni Haninozuka) are the only ones that know Haruhi's true identity. They learn about "commoner" culture and experience many new things. They get into wild adventures as they all start to fall for Haruhi and her commoner charm! It is rated TV-14 and is a romantic comedy.

Our Lady of Lourdes High School

Located in Poughkeepsie, NY, this is a Catholic high school where dreams go to die. Many parents, clearly unaware of the favoritism, shitty and questionable ethics, and the hiring of teachers that belong no where near students, send their children there to grow and learn in those tough high school years, but instead, their children graduate and are sent away with nothing more than a new found hatred for religion and the bigoted assholes that run the school. Not only do they take all of your money in tuition, they suck every last dollar of your parents paycheck, such as when they take $60 from you so you can walk up and down a road twice and call it a fundraiser. If you don't pay, they get pissy and take it out on you. Save the $28,000 you'll pay in 4 years tuition and put it towards college.

(a.k.a. "Where Gum Goes To Die")
This laughable excuse for an educational institution is populated by administrators who have superiority complexes and students who probably could not find their own asses on a map. This school's idea of "diversity" is Irish Catholics vs. Italian Catholics. The only half-decent thing about this place is the teachers, the majority of whom are highly intelligent and wonderful people whose only mistake is to be teaching at this hellhole.

When I graduate from Our Lady of Lourdes High School, I am burning my $60 uniform shoes in Papa John's office.
