Hate Speech

Speech that others may or may not find offensive; a type subjective speech.

Hate Speech may include both actual hateful words or phrases that are rightly deemed unacceptable by society or may also include words or phrases that

a particularly vocal minor piece of society may find offensive, but really aren't offensive at all.

Franklin was banned from Twatter on the grounds of posting Hate Speech, when all he posted was a meme that depicted a blue whale saying "Respecc Whalemen!".

Hate speech

the actual definition of hate speech is abusive/threatening speech that has prejudice against a particular group like religious ppl, anyone of different race or sexuality. they are NOT facts. examples of hate speech are: racist cartoons, derogatory slurs etc. if u say something that ppl get offended by but its not anything like the examples, its not hate speech.....and I'm saying this as a liberal.

Language used to offend a particular demographic e.g LGBT, ethnic minorities or religious groups.

Y'all think hate speech is free speech right? You're right and wrong. It indeed is free speech, but what you say will potentially lead to you facing ramifications. Don't abuse the right to free speech to be hostile.
