The term itself implies a gratuitous amount of homosexuality and a general sense of unmanliness towards the recipient. The term is also very versatile in the fact that it contains a small sense of sophistication and lacks more vulgar terms compared to other similar insults such as queer, ass pirate, and cock lover.
