Dinglefringas originated from John C. DINGLE in 1918. A small piece of metal carried in a soldier's pocket to remind them to read the bible but also used as spare rifle parts for their gun. It is approximately the size of a dime. It is a dinglefringas.
I pulled a dinglefringas out of my pocket and replaced the backplane of my M4 rifle and shot the enemy.
