Decemberitis

Decemberitis is a late NFL season disease that affects the Wade Phillips Dallas Cowboys during the month of December. Symtoms include, inability to complete passes, chronic interception syndrome, being sacked multiple times, random loss of hand-eye coordination in clutch situations, poor performance in the playoffs, and general embarrassment in the eyes of the local media.

There is no known cure and those who suffer from Decemberitis are doomed to a career of mediocrity.

After a pitiful display by the 2009 Dallas Cowboys and the lack of production during the 2010 season in the month of December, it appears that there is still no cure for Decemberitis.

Decemberfest

Decemberfest is the later, more intoxicated version of Oktoberfest. This takes place annually on the 20th of December.

Well we forgot about Oktoberfest but we can still have Decemberfest.

A band with a cult following. Members torture their friends by insisting that it is the greatest music ever. This is not true. It's not musically interesting and does not rock at all.

Cultist: "The Decemberists are awsome! This is the greatest song ever! Just listen to the lyrics!"
Friend: "This sucks my ass!"

The Decemberists

A fairly unheard of band. They include an 'Anti-War' message in most of their songs and put a touch of Ska lyrics into their usually Indie Style music. They are a fairly good band, but the lyrics anger many people.

Hey did you hear that new song by The Decemberists? It seemed to really highlight anti-war messages. I don't really like them.
