Brafficate

To take a largely unknown indie band or song and make it popular by including it in a mainstream film or commercial, thereby "ruining" the band for its original (and somewhat elitist) indie fans.

Origin: Term developed after Zach Braff included the music of The Shins in Garden State.

Brafflash

The backlash against actor Zach Braff, engendered by his production of and participation in films whose primary purpose is to show him as irresistible to attractive women despite his mopey, unexceptional demeanor. (See: Garden State, The Last Kiss.)

Due to an overwhelming Brafflash, Zach Braff found himself unemployed and destitute at age 35.

a silly non-sensical word said by some elementary school students in metro Atlanta in the 70's. It was accompanied by a goofy grin and a forward-bent posture. One would normally lean forward, dangling one's arms, grab one's upper lip and vibrate it rapidly and say the word.
