Someone who says they will hang out with their "friends" but always backs out. Responds to text messages with "idk" "hi" or "umm" instead of giving an actual response. Pretends to be sorry for ditching friends, but does it again anyways.

Someone who acts like they are your friend but is really a manipulative backstabber. A bad friend would be someone who is jealous of you and tries to compete with you and take over your life and replace you in all aspects because their life is too sucky and they can't come to terms with the fact that they were just lucky to be your friend in the first place.

When you try and be nice my inviting your best friend out all the time and introducing her to new people and other friends. Then behind your back she back stabs you by talking about you to your friends! When you don't even know that anything is wrong! Saying how much of a bad friend you are because you didn't give her enough time to for insanely long conversations about her life, making you the worst friend in the world. Because being busy with uni work isn't a excuse!

A bad friend is someone who blows you off all the time, specifically four times in one weekend , and every weekend after that for a month. Also blows you off all the time for her unattractive boyfriend... copies everything you do, and steals your style. Trys to get with every guy you've talked to and dated. Even one you're in love with. Oh and might I add, never texts you first or calls you, claiming she's too busy, when she's constanly updating her facebook status or tweeting. There is just some fantastic people in this world ...

Someone who cares only about themselves. You will always be there for them no matter what, yet you cannot count on them. They will ignore you unless it benefits them in some way. Once you start feeling sad or you go through something, when you turn to them they are never there. They talk about you behind your back. They treat you lesser than them. It does not matter how much care you have for your friend. They will never treat you like you deserve, and eventually the one who treated you like crap doesn’t change, and tosses you out like garbage.

The usually unnatractive poor friend who resents that her friend is prettier than she is and gets all the attention.
Usually when out the prettier friend will be told how good looking she is all the time and admired by men and the uglier friend is ignored.
The prettier friend everyone will think is a model and all the guys hit on and the uglier friend gets ignored.
Then years later the ugly friend realizes what a failure her life is and how she will never have the brains or beauty to be successful or rich in life and she comes on the internet to hate and make up lies about the girl.
