A Trump of rapists

A collective noun denoting a group / multiple rapists

Etymology:- Coined in the tradition of English collective nouns such as “a murder of crows”, “an unkindness of ravens”, and “a wake of vultures”

Named in reference to Donald J. Trump and the judicial findings in “Carroll v Trump”. In 2023, a federal civil jury found Trump liable for sexually abusing E. Jean Carroll. U.S. District Judge ,Lewis A. Kaplan, subsequently explained that the jury’s findings established rape under the ordinary, commonly understood meaning of the term, notwithstanding the narrower legal definition used in the jury instructions.

Usage: Political satire; contemporary English wordplay.
“The Cornell 7 are accused of being a Trump of rapists Do you think they will ever stand trial?”

“A Trump of rapists may find it hard to secure housing after release from prison. Especially once they appear on the Sex Offender Registry”
