Tagger Crews

Street crews known for repping their identity through graffiti — usually with three- or four-letter acronyms or coded alphanumeric ciphers. They earn respect by consistently tagging walls, marking territory, and defending their turf if someone dares to cross them. They might not be full-blown gangs, but they’re definitely not pushovers — disrespect their tags, and you might end up on their opp list.

Tiger Mode is an amplified state of creativity, primarily for disciples of the arts. Similar to being “in the zone”, it describes a flow state where creativity and productivity connect in perfect harmony.

I started the lyric writing session feeling uninspired and unproductive, but I reached “Tiger Mode” the second I combined that new drum sample with my string patch.

Tiger Mask is a hood classic of a Shonen manga centred on the dangerous world of pro wrestling, crimes and all. The titular antihero, inspired by Kamishibai stories surrounding different antiheroes with animal masks, is nonetheless a rather interesting take on the Batman legend.

Tiger Mask’s first anime show was the reason why a certain animator named Keiichiro Kimura basically invented much of the tv anime vocab.
