The number of protons in an atom is called its atomic number (Z). This number is very important because it is unique for atoms of a given element. All atoms of an element have the same number of protons, and every element has a different number of protons in its atoms.

Prottokollen comes from a word in the old russian saying ''yesli on visit na meste'' which means the god is great of the gods, this word is now mostly use by the african community in norway. The word is 3 shorter words in one long word (PR-OTTO-KOLLEN). The words being: PR meaning a type of Cable used for hanging cables, Otto is a verb meaning haning from a spesific place like a tree and Kollen which is a place in russia where the word originated from Neskollen.
