alt party

Another name for a GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) party. Usually consists of music, games, and people. Much like most parties. Or at least the ones that exist.

It's just a party that's celebrating one's own sexual preference, whatever it may be, and accepting and celebrating others'.

person 1: You going to that alt party tonight?
person 2: Cha! It's going to be awesome!

A gathering of only women. Opposite of "sausage fest." The only difference is that women don't care that there are no men present.

Similar to an orgy in that couples or a single couple spend time watching movies in the dark hugging each other in comfort, no other sexual advances except enjoying each other's company

Friend: Is that all that happened?
You: It was a hug party not an orgy.
