Subway Shuffle

When riding the subway or metro and a person loses their footing because of the jerky movements of the train when it comes to a stop. This usually happens when people have their hands full with bags or are too busy using their phones to hold the handrails. This sometimes results in the person scrambling to not fall over but more often ends with them crashing in to other commuters and causing a commotion.

Dude, put down your phone before you end up doing the subway shuffle.

Subway Seat Shamer

Members of the public (social justice sociopaths) who feel compelled to targeted commuters on subway/mass transit lines to give up their seats to perceivably more deserving people, and if rejected, proceeds to take pictures of these commuters to shame on social media, often conveniently leaving out other more able-bodied commuters who are just as able to give up their seats, because then there will be nothing to post on social media.

"At first I didn't know why the seats were all empty on this train but all the commuters were standing. Then I heard a rumor that this subway line is very popular with Subway Seat Shamers. I was told there are hundreds of pictures of passengers taken on this subway line floating around on social media. The comments were brutal."
