The act of putting someone else down or insulting them to boost one's Ego. It is most commonly done through pointing out the other person's mistakes, especially in spelling and grammar. This form is somewhat rare in real life, but very, very common on the internet.

Ego Dog Fight 

also known as EDFs.

When the egos of two (or more) people clash in an uncomfortable manner. This often results in a figurative 'blood bath' of emotions and ideals.

1: "I had a dream about you the other night. I'm still trying to figure out why".

2: "I don't know why you're dreaming OF me".

1: "Who said I was dreaming OF you. I said dreaming ABOUT you. There's a difference."

2: "You said you were dreaming OF me".

A person or people thinking thath they redirected the epicenter of earthqakes to the previous location of where they were living. Thath thinking i called ego sizemic thinking.

An example of ego sizemic thinking is when a person moves from North Carolana to California thus thinking thath he/she lowered the precentage of earhqakes in California but hierd the precentage of earthqakes in North Carolina.

ego code 

The tendency for certain programmers to reject new, more efficient, cleaner methods for writing code in exchange for what they perceive as doing things "their way". What this usually translates into is a buggy program with no comments, meaningless variable names, no indentation, and a monolith of if/else/switch/case statements as opposed to using an object oriented structure.

Like most shitty poetry, ego code is beautiful only to it's creator and an annoyance to everyone forced to work with it.
