Similar in many respects to a prison sentence except more painful, in that it affects over 60 million people, whereas a 5 year prison term ostensibly just affects the imprisoned individual. Also unlike a prison sentence, the nation could have the sentence doubled to 10 years, if Labour were to get in again!
