A Karen refers to a person, almost always a woman, who goes above and beyond to inconvenience others in pursuit of what she wants.
Karens are natively found in grocery stores- especially Walmart- thrift stores, and children’s soccer games. You can spot a Karen by their obtusely short and blonde haircuts, bad eyeliner, cheap runners, the Starbucks drinks they seem to pull out of thin air, and the burning need to speak to managers.
Karen’s also see the need to interject their opinions on every single living person in their radius, even if no one asks or fucking cares. They will also attack you based on any and all opinions and beliefs that don’t align with their self righteous mentality, and will go to the grave trying to destroy you or your business over bullshit that’s not any of their concern (not to be confused with a debater). They will also whine about anything and everything in their lives to garner pity from friends and family simply because their miserable with their life.
If someone calls you a Karen, you need to seriously re-evaluate what you’re doing in that moment, or even with your life because honey, that ain’t it. In short, back the fuck off and walk away. It’s for the best.

Karen’s are extremely uppity and entitled they speak down to food workers and house keepers. They expect everyone to have the same belief system as them and they are racist. You’ll catch a Karen triple locking her car every time she goes out to run errands because she perceives diversity as meaning “it’s a bad neighborhood”. She’s completely materialistic likely over weight and over protective of her stuff. She is wasteful and contributes to the mass amounts of plastic clogging up our oceans. She thinks dogs are all dirty and she has no sense of humor. Karen’s will nit pick, micro manage and be extremely passive aggressive. They demand special treatment and understanding yet they are always willing to cross your boundaries and disrespect you. Karen’s are OCD about the most tedious , minuscule things like how to fold a washcloth or a pair of underwear.
