Rap-EMOsyonèl "Rap-Emotionel” (French), (also referred to as Haitian Creole Emo Hip hop or Sad rap, or Rap-
-EMO for short,
is a a microgenre of hip hop that spread on the online audio/Visual distribution sites such as SoundCloud, Spotify and YouTube.
Characterized by an emphasis on emotional expression, sometimes through Komfessional lyrics which tend to focus on topics such as heartbreak, loneliness; depression; drug abuse; nihilism; suicide; anxiety
and self-medication that are sung and performed in Franglish/ Krenglish. Or French-Creole by artists of Haitian origins.
The genre is characterized by its combination of musical elements commonly found in Komfessional, conscious Pip hop with Pop, Alternative, Punk and indie rock

A mental disorder when listening to underground rap (ex. Lucki, Jaydes or Bunii) becomes unbearable, due to the prior use of using such music to cope with traumas. Hence making the music revoke those traumas.
Carter: “Dude I can’t listen to you anymore, it just reminds me of when I was in a really bad place, im sorry.”
